How it started
Little Mess Makers started from a simple idea, creating a space where children could play freely, get messy and explore without limits, while parents could enjoy those moments alongside them. As a mom, I wanted more opportunities to create meaningful, screen-free experiences with my little one, activities where we could play, laugh, explore and make memories together. I realised there was a need for a space where little ones could simply be little, without worrying about the mess and just like that Little Mess Makers was born.
Meet Tia
The founder of Little Mess Makers and a mom who believes that some of the best childhood memories are made with messy hands and big smiles.
Little Mess Makers was inspired by my own journey as a mom and my desire to create more opportunities for little ones and their parents to play, connect and explore together.
I wanted to create a space where children could be curious, creative and completely carefree — where getting messy isn’t something to avoid, but something to embrace.
What started as a little idea has grown into something I’m so excited to share with other families. My hope is that every Little Mess Makers session leaves you with a happy, messy little one and a memory you’ll want to keep forever.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Taste-Safe Fun
Most of our sensory play materials are taste-safe and carefully chosen with little explorers in mind — because we know curious hands often end up in curious mouths!
Play With Purpose
It’s more than just making a mess! Our activities encourage sensory exploration, creativity, fine motor skills and problem-solving through fun, hands-on play.
Dress for the Mess
Things are going to get messy and that’s the fun of it! Come dressed in old, comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little messy. We recommend bringing a change of clothes too!
